* To provide grants for the conduct of scientific research on the prevalence of lead and associated contaminants in the environment.

* To provide testing to the general public for lead in water, soil, dust, ceramics, paint, etc. Unfortunately, we can no longer perform analyses, due to the lost of our laboratory space.

* To encourage and foster educational activities including understanding of the effects, causes, and methods of eliminating lead contamination.

* To support the existing non-profit corporation, Clean Water for North Carolina, Inc.
